Staggered injections are several HPLC systems that can be acquired from a single mass spectrometer. "Staggered" mode, where samples are pre-loaded onto the other channel while the previous channel is still in acquisition.

Samples are injected into the fluid streams in a staggered fashion. “Staggered” means offset in time, not at the same time, not simultaneous. It might also mean that in addition to injecting the samples there is some sample prep involved.
